CONSTRUCTION CODES EXPERT
Mr. Casey is an International Code Council (promulgators of the International Codes) Certified Combination Residential Code Inspector and Certified Building Inspector. These credentials coupled with multi-state General and Plumbing Contractor licenses and Home Inspector Certifications, as well as published Code Reference book author substantiate an intimate knowledge of the intent of construction codes. Mike has been retained as Code Expert regarding numerous matters, including habitability disputes.
GENERAL CONTRACTOR
MCA has been retained numerous times to investigate construction defect and standard of care claims regarding General Contractor performance in California. Mr. Casey is a licensed General Contractor in CA since 1994. MCA has also been retained to review or prepare cost of repair estimates.
PLUMBING CONTRACTOR
Mr. Casey was first licensed as a Master Plumber in New England in 1980 and practiced the trade for many years, along with building, heating, cooling and wells/pumps. With the New England license now retired, Mr. Casey has been a CA licensed plumbing contractor since 1994. Plumbing issue claims and Expert Services are another specialty of Mr. Casey, being both licensed in the trade, and certified by ICC in the plumbing codes.
